This study sets out the technical, economic and environmental feasibility of the Izmir Kemalpaşa logistics centre and its rail connection, identifying measures that will improve logistics performance both regionally and nationally, reduce transport costs and strengthen intermodal freight.
The scheme is intended to shift freight from road to rail, strengthen connections to the ports, speed up supply chain processes and reduce environmental impacts.
