Project Objectives

Trafik Analiz Merkezi (TAM) provided technical support throughout the Alibeyköy Multimodal Transfer Centre project, which was delivered to make Istanbul's transport systems better integrated, more efficient and easier to use. At this interchange, where metro, tram and bus services meet, TAM's work covered the optimisation of public transport integration, analysis of passenger circulation, reduction of interchange times and assessment of how the junction arrangements would affect traffic.

Through the analysis, modelling and monitoring support it provides on schemes of this kind, TAM continues to contribute to Istanbul's sustainable transport goals.
