This study addresses the rising demand for raw material and finished product movements arising from the expansion of production at SASA Polyester A.Ş., and sets out how that demand can be met by rail rather than by road — the more efficient and cleaner of the two.
The connection to be built will link the plant directly to the TCDD main line, lowering logistics costs, shortening transit times, improving labour productivity and reducing the carbon emissions and wider environmental effects associated with road haulage. Operating efficiency and sustainable transport objectives are served alike.
