The purpose of the work is to raise the standard of the existing road network and make better use of it: to reduce journey times and traffic volumes, lower transport costs, limit the environmental harm caused by traffic and so help protect and improve the local environment, make the roads safer and cut the number of collisions, improve conditions for people on foot, and provide circulation that makes travel across the area safer and more comfortable.
To that end, the study identifies the existing layout and the problems along selected corridors within the municipal boundary of Isparta, and develops solutions that can be put into practice quickly.
